Cam Tunes is your go-to for pre-made HP Tuners files built for LS, LT, and HEMI platforms. Whether you're knocking out a DOD, MDS, or VVT delete — or dropping in a cam — we’ve got the files to get your build running right. Cam Tunes is owned and operated by Jason Jones, and is a sister company to his shop Cape Fear Motors LLC — a performance tuning and install shop based out of Wilmington, NC.

📌 Basic tunes are just that — basic. They’re designed to get your vehicle idling clean and driving smooth. Due to the nature of tuning and not being with the vehicle in person, it’s tough to get max results out of a basic file. These are built to get you safely back on the road — not to chase peak performance. Once you’re up and running, we recommend coming back for more tuning or stepping up to our remote tuning service if you want it fully dialed.
After you order, we’ll send you an email asking for your stock read file and build specs. One of our tuners will make the changes and send back a tune that’s ready to upload.
📌 This process can take several revisions and requires patience. If your file’s already been tuned, it may take longer to clean things up and get everything working properly.
⚠️ If your file’s a mess, we’ll reset it to a clean stock calibration and start fresh — no guesswork, no drama.
For more advanced setups, we offer remote tuning. You’ll install remote desktop software, plug into your vehicle, and let us log in and tune it live. It’s a hands-on process that gives you a truly custom result.
📌 HP Tuners is required for this process to work. All of our files are built specifically for HP Tuners — we do not support other platforms.

⚠️ Disclaimer
Improperly loading tune files can be dangerous — especially on older P-series GM PCMs. We strongly recommend using an external power source on your vehicle battery before writing any files. That means your battery should be fully charged and hooked up to a battery charger, jump box, or battery maintainer during the write process.
Never attempt to write files over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Always use a hardwired cable, and make sure your laptop has plenty of power and your vehicle battery is solid before flashing.
Cam Tunes assumes no responsibility for PCM damage, bricking, or data loss caused by tuning. Use at your own risk and follow all best practices when flashing files.
